1. Lac Bay at Sunset
The sheltered waters of Lac Bay turn extraordinary shades of gold, copper, and rose in the last hour before sunset. Shallow water means children can wade safely, and the mangrove backdrop gives a timeless, painterly feel to every portrait.
2. Sorobon Beach
Tucked at the inner tip of Lac Bay, Sorobon has calm turquoise water and pristine sand. The lack of heavy surf makes it ideal for families with toddlers and babies.
3. The Pekelmeer Salt Flats
Blindingly white salt pyramids, pink brine pools, and vast open sky create a surreal, editorial quality. Portraits here feel like art: bold, graphic, and unforgettable.
4. Rincon Village
Bonaire’s oldest settlement is full of colour and character. Pastel facades, flowering bougainvillea, and narrow streets with old stone walls give family portraits a warm, storybook quality.
5. Washington Slagbaai National Park
For adventurous families, the national park offers rugged volcanic coastlines, hidden coves, and wild landscapes found nowhere else on the island. The results are extraordinary.
